What we collect, and why.

What we collect

Contact and partner forms: your name, organization, email address, phone number if you give one, and whatever you write in the message fields.

General-interest signups: your name, email address, organization, role, and state.

VEDDER applications: the company profile you enter, your written responses to the challenge questions, any file you upload, your answers to the eligibility screen, and the attestations you make when you submit. Creating an applicant account also gives us your sign-in email address and name from the identity provider.

Site usage: page views, referring pages, and campaign parameters in links, plus coarse device and browser information. Our analytics does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries, evaluate applications, run the programs you asked about, and tell people who signed up when something changes.

Applications are read by D!NG program staff and by the reviewers assigned to that challenge, all under confidentiality obligations. We use software to help staff screen and organize applications; every decision is made by people.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the people and vendors named here.

Who processes it on our behalf

Auth0 handles applicant and staff sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and provides its analytics. Neon stores the database. Vercel Blob stores uploaded files. Resend delivers the emails we send you. Each processes data only to provide that service to us.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and signups are kept until you ask us to remove them. Applications are kept for the life of the program cohort they were submitted to and for a reasonable period afterwards for reporting and audit, after which they are deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the organization email address in the footer of this site and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date above.
